Yen Press launched the manga in English in February 2021. The company published its third volume on the 7th of June. The manga’s description by the company reads:

On the second level of our gym. It’s where we’re located. Classes are in session this moment, however, there isn’t a class at the same place as this. This is how Shimamura and I met. What’s the matter with this?

Yesterday I dreamed about kissing her. It’s not me and I’m pretty sure Shimamura isn’t too. But…when Shimamura thinks of the word “friend”, I want to be the first thought that pops into her head. That’s all.

The novel has inspired a TV anime adaptation, which debuted in October 2020. Funimation broadcast the anime when it was aired in Japan.

Mani created a manga series that was three volumes of the novel series available on Square Enix’s Gangan Online website from 2016 until 2017.
